AIBA, founded in Rome in 1969, represents and protects insurance brokers, offering training services and promotion of cultural activities and events, as well as agreements and conventions dedicated to members. Today it associates about a thousand brokerage companies throughout Italy

Fondazione Cariplo
It was established in 1991. Today it is one of the world's top ten foundations by assets. It aims to help social and civil institutions to better serve the community. It makes grants to public institutions, cooperatives, social enterprises, church bodies and non-profit organisations.
SISE - Società Italiana degli Storici Economici
Founded in 1984 with the aim of creating a community in which economic historians can discuss issues and problems in the discipline and participate in the network of different national organisations. It has almost 400 members and organises conferences and study days.

Founded in Genoa in 2005, it's an institute for the preservation, protection and enhancement of maritime culture, the history and memory of migration, Genoese historical identity, exploration and relations with other cultures.
